  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering disciplines, Master's or PhD degree is an asset
  • 3+ years of experience on power electronics and hardware design
  • Excellent knowledge of power semiconductors (MOSFET, IGBT, SIC, GaN)
  • Profound technical knowledge of high-frequency power electronics, power and control board HW design (min 4 layer), converter topologies, wide-band-gap semiconductors
  • Control board design for EV with Aurix 3xx Family and Safety control elements is plus
  • Able to provide technical guidance to team members on what, why, and how
  • Good English skills (spoken and written)
  • A highly motivated self-starter and team-player with very good communication skills
  • Willingness to travel abroad
  • German is a plus

Job Description:

As an HW Design/ Power Electronics Engineer in the Electrification Department of FEV Turkey, you will be part of a highly skilled team driven to design and engineer best-in-class xCU hardware and power electronics products. 

  • Development of innovative automotive power electronics products (inverter, on-board charger, dc-dc converters etc.) from concept to production maturity
  • Review customer requirement specification, standards or other documents with hardware specific requirements as well as derive hardware architectures and specifications
  • Realize analog and digital circuit tolerance and worst case simulations
  • Development and implementation of concepts for design, EMC, as well as electrical and functional safety (ISO26262)
  • Develop design verification test plans, safety and standards compliance test plans
  • Working closely with other FEV locations
