Teknopark İstanbul took its place as the only science park of IDEF'21, the 15th International Defense Industry Fair, with its 11 tech firms and 9 start-up companies, exhibited the high tech products and solutions. Teknopark İstanbul welcomed visitors from all over the world, including high rank generals, senior bureaucrats and representatives of defense companies. During the fair, more than 115 B2B meetings conducted in the Teknopark İstanbul booth.
Teknopark İstanbul Signed Two Critical Agreement in IDEF’21;
Strategic Solution Partnership; A protocol signed between Teknopark İstanbul and ASELSAN, TUSAŞ, ROKETSAN, HAVELSAN, TEI and BMC for entrepreneurial activities. According the Strategic Solution Partnership, Teknopark İstanbul is going to play a key role as a bridge between giant defense companies and deep tech entrepreneurs. Within the framework of the program, corporate cooperation with strategic solution partners, open innovation, in-house entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship activities, as well as support programs for entrepreneurs will be organized.
Cyber Security Acceleration and Incubation Program; Presidency of Defense Industries and Teknopark Istanbul agreed to launch the 'Cyber Security Acceleration and Incubation Program' for the development of Turkey's cyber security ecosystem. At IDEF'21, a signing ceremony was held for the agreement with the participation of President of the Presidency of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, Chairman of the Board of Teknopark Istanbul Prof. Dr. Metin Yerebakan and Teknopark Istanbul General Manager Bilal Topçu. Studies on the cooperation protocol within the scope of the 'Cyber Security Acceleration and Incubation Program' will be implemented in Turkey's first and only cyber security incubation center to be opened in the Incubation Center building of Teknopark Istanbul. Teknopark İstanbul’s Technology Transfer Office, Connecttto, also completed an important mission during IDEF’21. TTOPowerTeam was formed with the purpose of promote Teknopark İstanbul and inform the companies about incentives and benefits of the Teknopark ecosystem by visiting booths of attendant companies. Within three days, TTO Power team visited more than 110 companies and introduced Teknopark İstanbul and TTO supports such as; patent and trade mark registration, business development and university- industry cooperation.
