Our President of Defense Industries, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, visited our stand as part of #IDEF2025.
During the visit, our General Manager, Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Akyol, presented the strategic role Teknopark Istanbul plays in the development of domestic and national technologies, the contributions of the entrepreneurial ecosystem to the defense industry, and developments in increasing advanced technology-based collaborations.
With more than 500 R&D companies, over 10,000 R&D engineers, and over 370 startup graduates, Teknopark Istanbul supports domestic startups developing innovative solutions for the defense industry. It continues to contribute to the national technology initiative across all processes, from prototype development and commercialization to funding and exports.
